Clinical overview

Assessment and diagnostic expertise

Jackie Malone is an LAPC supervised by Susan Keenan (Georgia / LPC003161). She has a Master in Clinical Rehabilitation Counseling from Georgia State University and a Bachelors degree in Music from The University of Georgia in Piano Performance.

As a former piano teacher and lifelong musician, Jackie believes in the discipline of applying oneself, and that strategic relationships and creativity can be transformative. Her personal journey has informed her decision to become a counselor, and she is uniquely positioned with both experience and tutelage to accompany families, couples and individuals on their paths to recovery.

Jackie is attuned to the needs of those struggling with anxiety, depression, substance use, eating disorders, adjustment disorders, attention deficit disorder, and marginalized communities including LGBTQ+ populations. Her therapeutic orientation is centered in Narrative and Relational Cultural Theory, viewing clients as members of political, cultural, and family systems and stories.
